I use 17 foundation in nude because my skin is very pale and it looks very natural, i'd hate to look like an orange and this has been the best foundation i have come across for my skin type, but they do other shades as well, i'd recommend trying it, as for powder, i don't use any, hope this helps

First identify the undertone of your skin-pink or orange/yellow.
stand in front of the mirror. One by one hold a pink and an orange cloth to your face. The colour with which your face looks better is your undertone.
Go to a store, talk to the saleslady, and she'll help you to pick out the foundation. Get a cream foundation only if your skin is not oily!!!!!

What color eyes and hair do you have? That helps find a color warm, neutral, or cool.
Also try a mineral powder foundation so much better for your skin and it makes you look 'air brushed' and natural.
e-mail me if you want I have a bunch of colors in foundation to figure out your "type" and what is best for you to go with.
Most of all it matters about your hair/eye color to determine your "color" and this can change in the summer to winter.

I think u mean the ''color'' of foundation & powder.
So do check out products of some reputed cosmetic companies ( either at their shop or at a mall } and the sales girl there will help u choose the ''shade'' of powd & foundn. that go well with yr skin.

lakme foundation is best but before buying check it will compare with your skin color and use only some drop of foundation like two or three use it with some moisturiser it will glowing your skin

try bare minerals.. its a powder.. but its a foundation.. and works great for me.. i like it a lot.. covers with only a small bit.. and doesnt make me break out
