It depends I would say. I am sure there are plenty of policemen out there with glitches to their driving record, but not nearly as much as say the average person who may have in fact committed the same violations as the officer has. I would *like* to think that police offers are no exception to the law - despite their noble efforts to help carry them out. However, I am not so naive as to assume that ALL officers are treated with the same equal, nonbiased, punishing might of the law like the rest of us simple "civilians or pedestrians" are when it comes to buddy cops working together. I find it somewhat difficult to see Officer Jim ticketing his off duty coworker Officer Hayes with a $100 ticket and after Officer Hayes just invited Jim to his cookout he is having this weekend. However, if he does, boy what an awkward cookout that will be. Ha Ha! Cheers!

a police chief in texas usa just gave himself a ticket ..it was on national news...so i would say .0001 %....
