I was going to say, about ten or eleven pounds. So it sounds like your baby is just right.
But don't worry too much about the baby's weight. As long as you can tell she is feeding, and growing, she is doing fine. Doesn't matter what the scale says.

Sounds about right. My mom was just saying the other day that when she would take any of us to our 6 week check up (She had/has 7 kids) that all of us weighed 10-11 pounds at that age.
Cause i was telling her that Anna nicole smith's baby is 6 months old and on tv they said it weighed between 10-12 pounds now that is not right.
I know that has nothing to do with what you asking but i felt like writing it.

My baby weighed 7lbs 12oz at birth and at 6 weeks weighed 10lbs 6oz. Your baby sounds about right.

my boys were 7.2 and 7.4 pound at birth and 11 & 10.5 pound at 6 weeks respectively. looking at the growth chart i have from child and youth health services your baby is within the range for her age. if you go to the address i have just found you can chart your babies growth see below
