now before i asked how do i stop the programs (incons) from loading at the bottom of the right hand side from loading to allow my pc to run faster and i clicked start run put in msconfig and clicked on "diagnostic start up -load basic and services only"
and my pc was fast after that but then my dial up connection for the internet didnt work? so how do i fix that promblem and also it would allow my microsoft vvx6000 webcam to work so can someone please tell me about anything to fix this?

By selecting diagnostic startup you told the computer not to load your modem drivers so you are unable to use the dialup connect or the web cam. Restart your computer in normal startup mode. Then return to the system config utility (msconfig) and click on the startup tab. Review each item under the startup tab and uncheck all of those you do not need to have start. Trial and error is fine just make sure that you keep your anti virus running.
