I"m getting sick of TT just siting there not doing northing with FA., i really wanted to see him go after Deaon Grant Danial Graham Adualis Thomas. but so far northing and then we loss Green because TT wanted to wait and see what happens with him. TT get your head out of your butt and start making moves to help this team out or get out of green bay.

The Packers give Brett Favre for more support in the red zone and a TE would fit the bill, another good RB would help and getting Randy Moss as a WR would also help. I wish we had Ron Wolf back. At least he did something.

Ted Thompson's ideas are ridiculously old school and obsolete in today's NFL. This is 2007, not 1977 when you could've built a team through the draft. He made such great moves last year (Charles Woodson was EXACTLY the kind of leader the Packers D needed), but now he's slapping the fans in the face by getting rid of what was perhaps the greatest Packers backfield of all time. I could understand if he felt that the Texans overpaid for Ahman, but he's out of his mind if he thinks Morency or Herron can carry the load the way Ahman did.

I feel bad for Brett. I'm sure he came back because the Packers had an outside chance at going to the Super Bowl (the NFC isn't exactly intimidating and the Packers owned its best team on NYE), but Ted Thompson seems like he's making every move to assure that doesn't happen.

At first glance it does look like he needs to open up his tight wallet. But he does believe in building through the draft for several good reasons.

1. Calibur players in the NFL are getting younger every year, especially with regard to positions with speed. Why get a 30 year old declining player for more money than a rising young player?

2. If he does dip into free agency he does at the end. All the players that got signed already got spectacular deals because the teams wasted no time displaying need and gave into demands. Ted Thompson waits for them to give into his demands, which is why he has so much cap space to spend every year.

3. Look at how many free agent flops have happened over the past couple years. Teams spending big money and getting no results and cutting the player and getting a cap penalty. That is bad management.

So when you see all these signings and money getting dipped out, ask yourself if you ever hear about those GM's again? The redskins have continually screwed themselves over for the past 10 years with too much free agent signing. And teams that build through the draft continually make the playoffs and win the most superbowls.

Just try to be patient man, I am getting worried too, but if Ted gets caught up in the bling bling of big money players, he risks crippling the team for years to come by spending too much money right away.

first of all the packers didnt hire a stupid coach. McCarthy did a good job last season. He wasnt the coach i wanted but he did better then what i thought he would. We are talking about the packers GM Ted Thompson not the packer coach.

Yes, it is really starting to anger me!! The team is not that far off, they just need some help at a few positions, but they need it now, not in a few years! This may be Favre's last chance.
