Depends on your relationship with your Dad. I don't think
there is a clear cut answer on this one. I have the best
parents in the world, but we never discussed the "birds
and the bees" or masturbation or other things like that.

The professionals act like this is a must and almost seem
to try to give you a guilt trip if the "discussion" doesn't take
place. If you feel comfortable and want to discuss it with
your Dad, go ahead. He did the same thing and will
not slap your hand. If you feel uncomfortable about it
then your Dad will understand this feeling also.

But, whatever you decide, don't think you made the wrong
decision. Don't put yourself on a guilt trip.

well, if u wanna. Ur dad did it when he was 13 too. So, wats to talk about??? There is nothing wrong with it, they even recommend it in High school, it helps rid ur body of old sperm, then make room for new sperm. U hav to masturbate after u get fixed(males only) for 6 months, to get rid of ur sperm so a girl cant get pregenent ne more, so, dont worry about it, just hit it, I started when I was 12. If u hav ne more questions about the male body, and dont wanna ask ur dad, or neone eles, then e-mail me@ brandon_carraway13@yahoo.com. Im 15, not much older than u so, ask freely.

If you have questions about masturbation you can ask your dad, yes.

If you have questions about it and would prefer to talk to someone else, you can contact Planned Parenthood.

You don't need to act like you don't do it or anything. Everyone masturbates and it's perfectly normal. If my kids came to me with questions it wouldn't be awkward or anything though. So don't be afraid to ask your dad.

No, don't ask your dad. Just play around with it until you discover how to finish. Many men go about doing this and discover the pleasure themselves. You don't want your dad to help you out with this. There is really nothing to it. You will find out how to make it feel good for yourself. Even if you let a girl try and do it for you the first time you will just make her hand sore. Do it on your own and no matter how long it takes to finish or how many times it takes to finish, this is something that you discover.

Never be scared to ask about any subject to your parents,
it's their job to educate you and lead you the right way.
The subject is kinda akward for both sides, but it is absolutely a natural thing.
I'm sure that your dad wouldn't mind to educate you about it.

Masturbating is a part of growing up and learning to get to know your own body, there is no shame in that.

If you feel uncomfortable about asking him,how about you ask somebody else in your family/a friend or so.

If you search up ONLINE DOCTOR or something like that, you may even get the answer(s) you need online.

Good Luck!

what do u need to kno? ur a guy, u have a penis, and every guy masturbates. if u feel u wanna do it, or u already do it, u don't need to talk to him unless ur having a prob or ur confused about something. if ur doing it or are planning on doing it, i'm sure ur dad knows tht it will happen eventually. it's no secret.

You may feel more comfortable talking to someone else. If you would rather talk to your dad it's alright to talk to him, unless you know that he is against masturbating (whether he does it or not he won't tell you!).

Good luck!!

If you have an open friendship with your dad you should talk to him about it. Or you should ask someone in your family about it that you feel comfortable talk to. This is something that is just as important to guys as it is to girls.
Don't be embarrassed and Good luck.
