Wow thats harsh! Since she didnt say yes she has no legal grounds to take legal steps. If she said yes to the proposal and they got engaged then she could sue him for breach of contract but since she didnt answer she cant do anything but get over him. He was obviously cheating!

Sue somebody because they changed their mind about wanting to marry you???!!! So how about this...can HE sue HER..because between the time he proposed and the time he decided to propose to somebody else, he realized that she is actually a no brain idiot? How about if up until he proposed she used to have sex with him daily, went down on him regularly, did whatever he wanted to do....then after he proposed she started using sex as a weapon, stopped going down on him, stopped being kinky and adventurous?? Can he sue her because he thought he actually had someone he WANTED to marrry, only to find out later that she's exactly like every other woman in the world...they use sex as a reward/punishment ? What a stupid question.

She definitely has a right to be hurt, even angry.

No, she does not have grounds for a legal suit.

She should be glad that she did not marry this man. He, evidentally, did not consider her the true love of his life. He actually did her a tremendous favor.

She has the right to be hurt, I don't know if she can seek legal retribution for his decision to marry another woman.
I would seek legal council and see if there are grounds for suet.
Good Luck.

no she does not have the right to be hurt and yes she does have the right to seek legal help. I think that this guy is a jerk for doing that and if he did that than he doesn't deserve her any way.

in marrage, not yes is no.

hurt yes, she has the right, but remember, she caused it by not taking the oppritunity when it waas there.

legal help? no, the law will kick her out of court and call her crazy. she didn't say yes, and even if she did, he can change his mind clear up to the point of I DO, without any real legal problem.

Indecision means NO.
She refused to accept his proposal.
Whether that was the correct decision is not in question.
That she has no reason to be upset with him is also not in question.
He asked, she said no. He went elsewhere. Done deal.
