Not at all I would think what a charming man.
I think if more guys acted like gentlemen to begin with us women wouldnt think most men are tossers ;-)

It would depend on the guy I suspect. If he were older then I'd be flattered, if a young guy I'd be surprised. Most greetings these days are with the continental cheek kiss, or air kiss if you're yuppiefied. Can't remember the last time I shook someones hand!

My partner bumped into a a friend he hadn't seen in years when we were out and when he introduced us his friend kissed my hand - I didn't mind at all and it was quite nice but then so was his friend!! I don't think I would like it if I was out with the girls though and any old guy kissed it!

Believe it or not, an elderly gentleman did that to me at my Mum`s funeral, and I had forgotten all about men doing that until then. I liked it; it made me feel special and respected. I wish the custom would come back into fashion again! (Although I suppose these days we ladies would need to carry a box of antiseptic wipes around!)

not if he was cute, my friend Scott the ulitmate ladies man always does it, on him it works, I'm not sure about a complete stranger doing it though.

I would think it was really sleazy. I'm sure that people got a lot sicker back then - hands are so filthy - ugh!
