I seem to remember a certain wall being brought down some years ago. What planet have you been living on?

Of course Berlin was reunited. The wall came down and the city was unified.

I was in Berlin just a couple of months ago and it's one of the most exciting European cities. You can still see remnants of the various occupiers, but the city is growing and bustling in a very big way. For foreigners, it's difficult to tell which was east Berlin and which was west Berlin- the whole city is being refurbished and modernized.

Politically it was reunited on November 1989 with the fall of the wall which divided the West part from the East part of the same city. Socially and economically there are still differences in the way of living.
