Let's say, purely hypothetically of course, that a co-worker had told you her cat has the sniffles a hundred times today, despite the fact that it's only 10.30am and despite the fact you heard her perfectly clearly the first time. Wouldn't it be great if you could just reach over and switch them off for a hour or so?
I know this probably means people could switch you off as well, but who doesn't like nap time?

yeah, so when your boss calls u into his office to "talk" u can turn him off, and beat the **** out of him, and then turn him back on.... Yeah that would be pretty amazing, but for shutting me off, I would build something around my switch so no one could switch me off. I don't like sleeping very much... great question...

My dad had little patience with people who were so boring. He was so cute. He would flip his hearing aids off. The older I get, the more I understand. I think flipping our own hearing off works.
