get an instructional book, e.g. "football for dummies" at a bookstore. I seriously doubt learning about football will make your bf not be mad at you for whatever your transgression was.

The easiest, and quickest way to learn the rules of football, football teams, and football players- i would suggest you just buy a soccer game for a ps2, or xbox...Come on Arsenal! xD
