as in enroll into IIT or walk inside IIT ??
4enrolling you have to give an exam called IIT- JEE ( Indian Institute of TEchnology -Joint ENtrance Examination ) . Itz a prety tough exam and you got students preparing for it for 4-yrs before. You can give it aftr passing passing 12th grade. It is usually held in -around april . This year the exam i held on 7april .

You have to qualify in JEE to get into the B.Tech programmes, or GATE to get into the M.Tech programmes.
