Gay love is the same as straight love. There's no difference. Considering all of the questions you've been asking lately, I'm assuming you're gay and just don't know it yet. Otherwise, why would you be so interested? I didn't think you knew the answer to that one! Good luck coming out to your wife.

Love is love. Love transcends gender. It does not matter if it is 2 men, 2 women or a man & a woman, love is expressed according to the individual & the depth and intensity of their feelings for the other person.
As for romanticism, some people are more romantic than others and so show it in different ways. I on the other hand an a hopeless romantic and could probably woo the pants off a rabid grizzly bear. Then there is my ex, who thinks that a pint of beer and and action movie, a BBQ and a bunch of old army talking about their time in the army is romantic. Get my point?
Hope I helped.

This is a very good question. Unfortunately it is hard to describe because I have never been with a woman and have nothing to compare same-gender love to. Yes I'm gay, and I'm gay intimate. I don't think the folks here quite get what your asking, but I do. There is a marvelous sense of completeness when I'm with a man. Not just in having sex, but in the closeness, in looking into one another's eyes, in wrapping your arms around each other and staying there, in putting your head on his chest and feeling his heartbeat, in just making bodily contact with lips, hands, legs. I suppose it is the same for heterosexuals and therefore not particularly special, with the only exception that, being able to be intimate with another man is so taboo in society that the ecstasy of the intimacy itself is probably far greater than what heterosexuals experience as a routine and common thing. There is nothing in the world, at least for myself, like the feeling of a man's chest or back leaning against my own chest.

I would think it is the same gay or straight. I show love in all the normal ways, hugging, kissing etc. I write songs for my boyfriend also.

How does anybody express intimacy? Touching, caressing, kisses or doing the dishes, everybody expresses it differently, and it doesn't matter who the recipient of the act is. Being gay doesn't make the person any different. You ask this question like we're something totally alien. We are not. :)
