I was supposed to get my period yesterday, and it's ALWAYS exactly 28 days, and I didn't get it, but the preg. test came out negative. What should I do, please help!

I'm 5 weeks and 4 days pregnant and i didn't get a pos until 3 days late so dont worry all is not lost, you may have ovulated a few days later than believed, or the egg has implanted a little later or you hcg isn't quite high enough yet. good luck baby dust to you xxx

If your period is unusually late and you are experiencing symptoms not usually linked to PMT you may or maynot suffer from then it is looking like you are pregnant. Many women dont get a positive test result at the beginning of the pregnancy even though they are pregnant. This is because the amount of pregnancy hormone in your body is quite low at the moment. Wait a few more days, a week if you can and test again. Use clearblue or first response, they are more sensitive than some other brands such as Boots own make.
If you have no luck still and your period still hasnt made a show go to your doctor, he/she can confirm the pregnancy with a simple blood test - they are very sensitive and accurate & can detect pregnancy a few days after conception. Good luck!

Wait 2-3 days and then test again. It may have been too early to get a positive result.
Probably not much point in going to the doctor as the tests they use are generally less sensitive than home tests.

How long since the last time you had sex?
Pregnant tests only show conclusive results one week after your pregnant.
Have you had any stressing matters in the lasts weeks?
This can make your period irregular.
Take another test, diferent brand, If it's negative again, wait one or two weeks and go to the doctor,either than that ,nothing much to do.

maybe wait a couple of days and take another as when i conceived my second child i was trying for 7 months. When i took the test which was one of those cheap ones with a little pink dot i thought it was negative but when i held it up near the light i could just make it out. i took it to my friends just to make sure and sure enough i was pregnant. It might just be cos theres not enough of the hormone yet as its early days. hope this helps

Wait a couple of days and then test again. If it comes back as negative make an appointment with your GP, they can if anything do a more sensitive test and then advise you from there.

You sometimes get false negatives. I would do another test. If it still comes back negative wait a couple of days and repeat. If you are worried or there is still a negative result and no peroid in a week go and see your doctor :-)

I've had this trouble many times. If you worry about things it can stop them.. So now if you worry about missing your period or being pregnant its going to stop them for a lil bit longer, Just try and relax. If it hasn't appeared in a week try another pregnancy test. Hope all works out

Go and see you GP or maybe the pregnancy test was rubbish so buy a another 1 and hope that it's better.
