...God will speak to your heart in a small quiet voice that only you will hear... not in your ears...deeper...within you... you'll know... He most likely has spoken to you already, you just didn't recognize His voice...

Hi There,
Well, the creation always in its true spirit should know God.He is supreme and all powerful,at the same time He is full of love and compassion otherwise this world would be destroyed long back. How will we know a lake.By its water, depth and all it contains, right.God is same,we will know Him by His beautiful qualities which are manifested in His creation and in the happenings of our day to day life. How very often we have escaped from an accident,or even death.God has been with us during those times. We will know God by the good that we do in our life.We search for Him all over the world but He is just so near to us,maybe in the form of a genuine beggar,or a friend or in someone who desperately needs our help.God is supernatural at the same time He comes down to the level of Humans.Even as I write to U,He is there with me.We will know God when we feel rich in the true sense,I mean God is the owner of this whole wide world, and when u believe it in our hearts and we beleive in His love, then this entire world is ours because God is ours.We are truly rich then.We will know God by the true peace we get when we do good deeds. Most importantly we will know God when we love, especially when we love those who are despised in the world, the poor, the needy, the downtrodden, the lonely.

FINALLY WHEN WE LOVE WE WILL KNOW GOD.

NO GOD, NO LOVE
KNOW GOD,KNOW LOVE.

GOD LOVES U VERY VERY MUCH.

The question is ambiguous. Ambiguous questions cannot get precise answers. Is the questioner looking for a definition of God or does he(she) want to know the content of the object of his sentence, or does he (she) want to realize God?

God can be defined as that, from which this universe originated, by which it is sustained, and into which it reverts back eventually.
Realization of God can be achieved by proper knowledge – discrimination between the transient and the eternal, and detachment. Hindu Scriptures have given clear blueprint for God realization. Interested people may refer to Upanishads.

You won't. It's a fantasy. But you'll learn much if you simply look at the world, and feel the connection between yourself and all "other". That's spirituality. Religions are merely the preserved ignorance of past generations, boiled down to dogma, which gets in the way of seeing reality and embracing it gratefully.

We can know the God when we understand His philosophy-- impartiality in treatment with living things, equal distribution of His wealth to all,non interference between living things and equal punishment to all, at times.he can not be provoked, nor does he provoke others. When we can understand His wholly acts and submit to him and pray with devotion we enjoy His existence.

We can never know God? God is not knowledge to be gained. He is above knowledge. How can we know Him? If someone had known him, he could have passed the knowledge to us. We speculate about God, and imagine many things about Him. But whatever we know about God is only an imagination. Nothing real.

In fact, we should stop thinking about God. How can you think about God, who is beyond thought? Don't desire God, for you desire that which you already know. You don't know Him, how can you desire Him?

It is a big joke that we try to know God with our limited Mind, through reason, through intellect...... God is there, when you are not there. God and you cannot co-exist. As long as you as an ego is present, God is absent. Your worldly presence itself proves that divinity has no place in you. It is only when you are empty-minded that there is chance of meeting God. With a mind full of desires and thoughts, whether good or bad, there is no space left in it for the divine to take entry.

Mind is said to be impure, if it carries bad thoughts. It is said to be pure, when it carries good thoughts. I say that both bad and good thoughts are impurities of the Mind. Water in a glass with sugar is as impure as that which contains dirt. So both bad and good thoughts pose as obstruction for divinity, called God.

There is no way to meet God through knowledge, as knowledge itself is a barrier, you have to leave knowledge aside, in fact you have to throw all garbage and the nice things including knowledge out of the mind, so that there is not a wave of thought left in the mind, so that you are in a no-mind state. Then and then only, we become open to divinity. Yet there is no guarantee that God will visit us in moments where our minds are totally empty. Empty mind is only an invitation to divinity, it may come or may not come. Just be open and wait, but never desire, have infinite patience. If even you desire God, it itself is an obstruction, because all desires make the mind impure, be it the desire for God or anything else. God is neither good nor bad. He is above both, so throw away all good and bad thoughts, and be simple. Your mind, as of now, is very complex. Mind is simple when it is pure, that is without any impurities. And to be simple is very difficult. The desire of wanting to meet God is itself an obstruction to God. There is no way or method through which you could reach God. Leave all methods, all searches, all practices, all prayers, as all these are nothing but one or other forms of desire and be as simple as a child, never desire for God any more. All exercises to reach God is futile. If you are really yearning to meet God, you would not have asked the question. The meeting with God is totally dependent on how thirsty are you to meet God. Simply reading about God and knowing about him leads you nowhere. You will come across different versions of God from different persons. But all knowledge about God is useless garbage, it confuses your mind. May be they are useful if they lead you unto utter confusion, and a time comes that when you are so confused, that your mind becomes weary of thinking anymore, and the mind ceases to be, and in that state, most possibly you will be face to face with God.
