I started a job last year being a receptionist. I help out the accounts floor and feel I know quite a bit about it. I want to leave my current job as its sh!t and I dont want to be a receptionist for the rest of my life.
I would like to work in accounts, but I have know "real" experience and obviously no qualifications for it.
I would like to know what would I ask to be if I went to an agency? would it be accounts assistant, credit control assistant, accounts junior? I just dont know what to say or put down on the online jobs searches.
And also, would you take me on with the knowledge that i have no real experience, just doing the basic's?
Thanks for your time.

Speak to your Boss - most Companies are really interested in training their Staff (it's cheaper than recruiting new people & they get Government grant for training)

If the Boss says no, you could check out the local Evening Classes, or even Open University ... and (of course) look for another job where they would be willing to give you training (for example, most Banks).
