but yes people should say thanks It can make a big difference to a person so I hope they show you that you are appreciated from now on

Most time at work I am feeling very unappreciated including today. Get home to have my dogs greet my like I had been away for days make it worth while

I'm a house wife. Between the hubby and 2 teen-age boys I'm lucky they wipe their own ass! The dog is more thankful! They're good kids and I have a wonderful husband, but if I leave for a day everything goes to hell.

Talk to the person about how you feel. May help.
But do remember, some people are plain selfish or just insensitive. Forget about them. You did a good job? Pat yourself on the back. Give yourself a reward.

I always feel like that as my family are never thankful for what i do for them, i run around like a headless chicken for them, and when i want tea they always b*&^$# and moan because they have to do something, I just wish for once they would appreciate me as their mom , wife, mother who goes out of her way to do things for them.

Yes 90% of the time. My kids are too young to say thanks for the everyday stuff but do if I do something for them. My husband never says thankyou particularly for taking care of kids, house and him :-(
