I cannot see any point in giving you ten examples of each. Here is one of each. You can easily create a few more.

Linear: 5x + 3 = 23.
Solution 5x = 20, x = 4.

Quadratic: 3x^2 + 13x -10 = 0.
(3x-2)(x+5) = 0
Either 3x -2 = 0, x = -2/3
or x + 5 = 0, x = -5.
