Thinking of doing something with my teeth, although they are straight and look okay, I wondered if the Veneers harm your teeth in any way. Do they grind your teeth down? Is it an expensive process? Any other better?

They are anything but cheap. And any bargain you might find probably won't look good.

They do tend to look good but they can present issues down the road. Have you ever seen anyone with gorgeous, white teeth except for dark lines around the edges of their gums? These are old veneers and that dark line where the actual tooth has rotted underneath. Ask your dentist first.

If you want veneers for discoloured teeth then bleaching might be a better option. If it's for crooked teeth then braces or Invisalign might be a better option. All both in terms of cost and oral health. Again, your dentist will be better able to go over your best options. There are cases where veneers are best.
