hey guys, the past month i have been very depressed to the max and stressed because of a lot of school stuff and personal issues. i had a nervous breakdown pretty much. My period was delayed for 2 weeks this month and this RARELY happens...like once in 2 yrs not even. I was freakin out cause i thought maybe i was pregnant but i had no signs =S. So yeah my question is can your period be delayed due to depression?

Absolutely. I had only 3 periods one year due to stress. My doctor had to prescribe medication for stress and some kind of estrogen pill because my stress levels were off the chart.

Your period is regulated by hormones and depression is proven to effect the hormone balance in your body, so yes.
