tarot??!!
Yeah ok as if a bunch of playing cards are in any way significant!!
Its a card game lol.

Playing cards were first created in Europe in the late 14th century. All evidence indicates that the first tarot decks were created between 1410 and 1430 in either Milan, Ferrara, or Bologna, in northern Italy, when additional trump cards with allegorical illustrations were added to the more common four-suit decks that already existed. These new decks were originally called “carte da trionfi”, or "triumph cards." The first literary evidence of the existence of carte da trionfi is a written statement in the court records in Ferrara, in 1442. The oldest surviving Tarot cards are from 15 fragmented decks painted in the mid 15th century for the Visconti-Sforza family, the rulers of Milan.

When the tarot was first used for divination is not known, but no documented examples exist prior to the 18th century.

The tarot is a set of cards featuring 21 trump cards and a special card called "The Fool", in addition to the usual suit (face and pip) cards found in ordinary playing cards. Tarot cards are used throughout much of Europe to play Tarot card games

In English-speaking countries, where the games are largely unknown, Tarot cards came to be utilized primarily for divinatory purposes

Yes I do believe in tarot - I was training to be a medium a couple of years ago and they showed you how to use the tarot. I still use them from time to time when someone, or myself, needs some answers or guidance. Unfortunately, as I'm from Scotland, I don't know of reputable mediums in your area.

Yes. I have two decks. The first has prediceted several deaths. Atleast thats what my friends said. I only remember one such prediction. I don't use that deck so much since it only predict bad things. The other deck screws with peoplesminds. I was talking to a friend and was describing what each card means. I was randamly flipping cards. Each time I mention a card. It showed up. I did the statitstics on the chance it happened randomly and I had a better chance winning the Lotto. I wouldn't mess with them. My friends was pretty mad at some of the things my cards did.

Yes i do, and yes they are very true, but you can live your life in what you read in the cards, a reading only tells what to expect it that's the right word if you continue on your currant path in life, I have read the cards for years, but not my own because I feel if you do your own you will read into it want you want, I have been told the many readings i have done have been very good.

If your looking for a reading, be careful they can see you coming and charge yo a lot of money, the best idea is to ask around near where you live, you will be surprised how many people have their cards read, find someone to give you a reading on a recommendation, and DO NOT tell the reader anything about you, ant question you have for the cards can be done either in your head, or write it down without the need of the reader seeing it.

Love & Peace

I don't know of a good psychic in the herts area, but you could try the Psychic directory which is a list of reputable pyschics.
I do believe in the Tarot, but what people don't seem to realise is that these things don't happen overnight.
Good luck with your quest.

My friend did the tarot cards on me once, I dont know if I believe in them or not, I think all the answers u get from them relate to most things in ur life anyway, I think the people who create them r very smart at using the words u want to hear.

I believe in them, but I also take them with grain of salt.

They were based on the Egyptians ideas of the world.

You can buy your own deck and practise.

I have been amazed to have the same cards come up time and again when trying to 'trick' the cards over and over! The chances of these combinations occuring so many times in a row are very, very slim.

I believe you cna get some insight from the tarot but mostly i look at it as entertainment.

Nope. Like all other 'mancy's, it is a collection of self-delusion, charlatonism, warm and cold reading and barnum statements. Using such techniques, I can give very impressive card reading myself (I use the Thoth Deck), but I have the honesty to explain afterwards just what a con-trick I am pulling!
