El C.I.D BBC Series?

Has any heard of a BBC series called El C.I.D staring John Bird. It shows on men and motors at times, but is it available to buy on DVD?

I know the series. It was on ITV years ago and it also starred Alfred Molina (Spiderman 2). Ive tried Play.com,HMV and even E- Bay and cant find it! Pity, because it was a great show!
