try getting more calcium in your diet..... or taking a calcium whole food suppliment

You can try using a heating pad or a hot water bottle. For over the counter medications you can try something like Midol. If the pain is so bad that it affects your ability to function on a daily basis pls get in touch with your dr to figure out what could be causing this.

Taking pain reliever might not be the best option because your body gets used to it after a while and it looses its effectiveness,the best option is exercise,it might not be easy initially,but if you can press on,you"l see the need to exercise.
