Here are a couple of reasons why I think we as humans should be punished by extermination:
1. Forgeting the teachings of the bible by having sex before marriage, killing other people for pleasure and money so we can survive, worshiping money instead of the bible, etc.
2. Slowly distroying our environment through deforestation, overfishing, pollution, global warming, etc.
3. Overpopulation which leads to the imbalance of the eco-system and killing off animals in the process.
4. Killing animals for money and pleasure, like hunting and fishing for pleasure, killing other animals for their skin such as fur, just so that people will know we are rich, etc.

There are many more reasons why I think we should all be punished and be exterminated, myself included. We are all sinners. Do you agree or disagree? And why.

You obviously believe in a vengeful God. I don't.

Hi Lacoste,

your condemnation of the human race is quite possibly justified to some extent, but let's look at what you say...

Killing. You claim we should be exterminated because we kill animals (and each other) Yet the animals kill to eat. So do we.

The Bible. Whatever your religious views you have to agree that if you believe in the bible and its teachings we would be learning from a fairly inhumane God.
When, in the time of Moses, Baal was being worshipped, God in a fit of pique decided they should all be killed. Ditto Sodom and Gommorrah, ditto thousands of first born sons of Egypt, ditto (in the name of the church) genocide in the Indian populations of south and central America.

What kind of God says 'if you don't worship me, I'll kill you and everyone else?'

Otherwise why would Noah have had to build his Ark and let everyone else in the world drown because God didn't feel he was getting due respect?

Yes, there are 'crimes' we commit. I, personally would never catch fish or hunt 'for pleasure', only for food. I would never torment, mistreat or kill animals for 'fun'. Nor would I, because I have a dog, kill it because it didn't show me 'proper respect'.

Before you thrust us into God's hands for punishment, have a REAL look at the history of God's treatment of us as a human race. The comparisons are not so different, are they?

If you are unhappy with the state of the world, do something about it. Change people's ways of living and, maybe, we'll end up with a better world.

Remember we don't create earthquakes, volcanoes and other 'natural' disasters. They are often described as 'Acts of God' so why is God, the all powerful being, according to the bible, to be praised daily for sunshine, food etc., but never to be blamed for any of these disasters.

I think you need to take your head out of the bible for a short while and look realistically at who does what, and why, before calling for our extermination.

Simply put
God is the judge
and, when the time comes for "the belt"
we will all stand individually accountable
for the omissions and comissions of our life !!
Some major comfort to have a "mediator"
at a time like that-- and I for one could not
expect leniancy one without that -- for I have
always been guilty as charged from day one
and have no excuses at all but that I am human--
So, as a guilty man within this world of sin
I, myself, can rant and rave about others all I want
but as the sciptures state--- be aware of the mote
in your own eye-- before pointing out the cinder in another's !!

I'm not sure I agree with all your examples of sin, but I think we will be punished because wer're not looking after our world. For our foolishness.
For every actionthere is a consequence and fortunately, God leaves us alone to learn the bitter lesson.
So what are you going to do about it? Will you try to educate people and save whales, the ecology, etc.

In the Bible according to God, one sin is no greater than the other. We are all sinners and Jesus died for our sins. John 3:19. We all fall short. The good thing is since he died for us, he forgives us. We can accept him for what he did for us and we can live for him. Jesus chose to die for all of us before we were ever born. That is love. Simple. We accept that in our hearts. We ask for forgiveness and we live through him and when we do, we as Christians try to live purer lives. We, of course, are humans and will sin, but we ask for forgiveness. As Christians, we want to try our best to live through him. God does not want us exterminated for what we have done. He wants us to do good. When we fall short, we ask for forgiveness. We pray daily.

I'm sure you have quite the collection of whips, Mr. Buzzkill. And no I disagree with you in every way. And if you don't feel you deserve to be here on the planet Earth then please remove yourself from it. And leave the rest of us alone.

Lighten up, man.
The idea may be a gesture of Christian self-abasement but anyone promoting it as policy would have to be a masochist.

i'm sure there's many people who don't do anything on your list...they don't deserve to die.

[edit] just realized something ironic: if you were also anti-abortion, then how would you exterminate babies?

Any resources used beyond our actual needs is wrong, but I don't know if it's worth eternal damnation.
