I am currently a teacher in a high school and my best friend is a dance teacher who was recently pregnant. It is perfectly fine to teach dance to students while you are pregnant as long as you are not preterm or have risk factors. There is not a cut off date on how long you can teach so long as u feel good doing it. The only thing they recommend you give up when pregnant is riding horses and riding bikes. Since I assume your students will not be doing any equestrian dances or bike stunts you should be just fine.

Since I am going to assume that you are use to this level of activity then I would say that yes you are ok. You do want to make sure to not over do it though, being preggers can make you very tired and if you get tired it is time to stop and rest. Another thing to remember is that as you get larger you will be less graceful...something about the center of gravity changing....and be more prone to falling which can hurt both you and the baby. Only do it as long as you feel comfortable and confident about yourself. Good luck and congrats.

After your first trimester maximum docs evaluate it to be ok, as long as you do it in a properly-ventilated section. My pal had highlights completed at 4 months pregnant, and her sister-in-regulation did it for her outdoors so as that they'd not get the scent in the abode. She now has a superbly healthful 7-month old son :)

Generally, yes. As long as you are comfortable and in no pain. However, I do not know your overall health picture, so I'd see your doctor. As the pregnancy progresses, you will probably find it a bit uncomfortable. Best of luck.
