EQII is an on-line RPG. It has similarities to other games like World of Warcraft, Ultima Online, Star Wars, and many others along those lines. You run around in a "world" and complete quests and other tasks to make experience points and level your character to higher levels and abilities. The bad thing about EQII is that after around level 30-35 you cannot complete most quests without being in a group with other people!! I much prefer the game Ultima Online myself. I am also in the Lord of the Rings open beta program and this is a fairly good game so far as well!!!
