Admired someone from afar but never actually spoken to them?

Yes, I liked a boy from another school - about thirty years ago. It was not done to associate with them as the schools were bitter rivals. He is now the father of a boy in my daughters class at school! Still never had a proper conversation with him - he still makes my knees wobble.

Yeah!

I was on a ski trip with my school.

I fell on one of the slopes and this (to what was a 13 year old girl) Adonis came and helped me up!

We didn't speak a word, but our eyes met and said it all!!

To this day I still think of it, because the chemistry was so - well it WAS electric!! He was about 16, so I suppose he thought I was maybe a little too young!!

I spent the rest of the holiday swooning every time I saw him!

I'm just glad I didn't make a fool of myself by making it too obvious!!

Thanks for that trip down Memory Lane. It's really cheered me up on this dismal, rainy Monday!!

Yep. I'm admiring him from afar but I talk to him as often as possible.

I have,it was a guy, obviously,i thought he was EVERYTHING i ever wanted in a man,i worshipped him from afar for about 18mths,until i finally plucked up the courage to speak to him.Lets put it this way i was bitterly disappointed,he wasn't what i had imagined,my advice would be talk to him/her now,and avoid the probability of being disappointed later on.

Yeap.

Much prefer to remain like this than start getting to know that person.

His true attitude/character/lifestyle might be a spoiler to everything.

Much prefer to look at that person as an eye candy.
