Hi, I got the Burning Crusade expansion pack a few days ago and it wont run on my computer. When I put the disk in my laptop does not read it and says it needs formatting. But when I tried it on my sister's computer it worked fine. Does anyone know what the problem is?

Hello, I got my laptop last July and it was new from Dell. I have enough RAM and also enough free disk space on my hard drive.

The problem lies in your CD Drive, if you just recently purchased the laptop from Dell, you should contact them about service and warranty repair.

Hopefully they can fix your problem, because Burning Crusade rocks!

I really don't have experience with laptops, but you should be able to download the expansion for free here:

You'll need to go into Account Management on Blizzard's site to upgrade your regular WoW subscription over to a Burning Crusade subscription.

The Burning Crusade is not a DVD disc so it should run fine.

Sounds to me like it could be a back disc drive. Have you tried other discs in it lately?
