Dick doesn't think so, and when asked about his daughter being a pregnant lesbian he completely blew off Wolf Blitzer...probably one of the most akward moments I have ever seen. So, my question. Is she fair game in an interview? She has written a book, she has actively campaigned for her father, and her sexuality is a hot-button issue for her father's party. Cheney also freely discusses his other daughter's (Elizabeth) marriage and children. What are your feelings on this?

That was a fun interview to watch.

If Cheney takes any stand on gay relations or gay marriage, then yes the topic and his feelings about his daughter are fair game. Same with any other politician. He's opened the door.

If Cheney refuses to comment on anyone's gay relationships, then it's off limits. If he doesn't bring it up, then its a non-issue.

What are you suggesting? That Dick and Lynne Cheney failed as mothers and dads because of the fact their daughter happens to be gay? Or that there's no such element as gay those with values? Mary Cheney has been along with her companion for 18 years and is pregnant with their 2d baby, so she's curiously embraced the "healthful kinfolk values" to which you refer. Sounds to me like her mothers and dads did an exceptional pastime raising her. and whether you do no longer know it, there are homosexuals in each kinfolk, none of whom are evidence of parental failure.

As much as I can't stand cheney, I tend to believe she should be left out of interviews with cheney and his wife lynn. If you interview mary about her book or about campaigning for dad, then i think her lifestyle is fair game.

I suspect Ann Coulter's the father.
The subject of Cheney's daughter is fair game in questioning Cheney's integrity, hypocrisy, commitment to family,.......oh look out, he's got a gun!!

I didn't see the interview but my feeling is that family members should have their privacy respected unless they enter the public spotlight by words or deeds.

What's her book about?

Sure, just like Clinton's child and Pelosi's grandchildren. Can't wait for those interviews.

Live and let live! I am a Republican and the fact that she is a lesbian is a "no issue" with me.

I think so it is interesting how he is so anti gay but if his daughter is gay its cool. But then again this furthers my theory which I keep reposting because I really think I'm onto something and I want ppl to see it
