Start with creating a budget. List everything you spend money on for a month. Include any debt payments and savings. Compare that to you take home pay.

You'll see how much extra you can start putting towards the debt. You can then see where you can slash your expenses and continue to put it towards the debt.

Then stick to the budget. My husband and I have been doing this for years, but this year was the first year we really stuck to the budget because we're trying to pay things off. It's working like magic. We're suddenly finding the money to make much larger payments each month.

If you still need more money after finding it in your budget, you can always pick up a part time job doing something like delivering pizzas to supplement your income. Or you can start selling some of your stuff.

It's not easy, but it does work. Good luck with it.
