There are perverts EVERYWHERE, especially on the internet, especially on yahoo answers, hiding behind avatars of pretty little blonde cartoon girls.
I see questions obviously posted by kids, and I worry for them. There are a lot of sickos out here, and this site is no exception.
How do we protect kids? It sounds tough, but keep them the hell off the internet until they are old enough to figure out a creeper when they see one. And who knows how old that is. I guess they need very close monitoring, no locking themselves in their bedroom with the computer to talk to Chestor the Molester.

Its not entirely appropriate to have your bits instead of an avatar but it is not disgusting. We all have bits and I don't think seeing a tiny picture of bits is going to harm your children. I also think shooting is way extreme for showing a part of his body. And more households don't have kids than do so its up to you to protect your children and maybe that means sitting with them when they are online.

He's no worse than some of the ladies( and I use that term loosely) pictures of their very proud body parts. Yahoo needs to do a far better job of monitoring the avatars.

The net as a whole can be full of perverts. One thing that i cannot understand is when young people give out there email addresses on here.
Now that is asking for problems. If you have any doubts report them.

Yes to the header question. Only by reporting him to team yahoo under child protection is the answer to your second question. They might be able to block him or turn him in to the police. Make sure your emails and other links are blocked. and that your kids are excluded from the adult sections.

If you've seen some obscene on this site, you should report it, because it offends YOU, not because of the CHILDREN!! Aren't we all sick of the CHILDREN being everywhere and anywhere?? Does our every sentence have to revolve around the innocence of the CHILDREN??
I've asked Q&A to make this an adult restricted site. Parents don't seem to want that, so...... What gets said gets said in front of the CHILDREN!!

It's the ones you get where people are asking other people to email them - especially when it states a preferred age group to contact them.
The frightening thing is - lots of young people answer them and even put their email or IM in their answer.
Scary Scary Scary...........
