Rugby is a real man's game, remember that! He sounds like one of the decent men unlike you. If his is gay, which he isn't how would you react? I think he would be better off finding some new mates and letting you go to the pub on your own.

no he's not gay, thats just a daft idea. Its actually a strong masculine sport. You tell me where you've seen effeminate men playing Rugby. Gay people can enjoy rugby like any other sport. But unless your friend actually is attracted to men, then he's about as gay as the millions who watched the rugby world cup

Nothing wrong with not pulling for a week! But how do you know for sure that he hasn't pulled for a week? How do you know he is not staying in to watch the rugby with 'a nice bit of stuff'.....(this is probably how you would phrase it).
And you do sound like his girlfriend....stop whinging, leave him alone, he is entitled to spend time away from you sometimes.
And what is your problems with gays? Dont be so homophobic!!!!!

jeez, relax. If you liked him as a friend before I don't see how the revelation of a possible homosexual orientation would change anything...If he's gay, he was gay when you were hanging out before. Doctors aren't going to help him, since there isn't anything wrong with him. Maybe he just reliazed what a short sighted ignorant jerk he has for a friend and found a better friend that doesn't judge people on their sexual orientations.
PS. He probably just found a woman. Jerk.

why are you so worried he may be gay if he is wanting to watch the rugby?? don't you think you might be overreacting just a bit?? besides, if he does turn out to be gay you should be there for him like a true friend should.

What's wrong with watching rugby anyway? And is being gay a problem in the first place? You make it sound as though its a disease..

hey, there's nothing wrong with a person being gay. if he is truly your friend, you will accept him for who he is. he's the way he is and there is nothing you can do to change that. either you accept him the way true friends should, or be shallow and stop being friends with him.
