What does that mean, they would prefer distancing themselves from the chimp? Quite frankly if he was loved and a praised by the media 24/7 along with a high approval rating, perhaps they would come out of the closet?

I think they are even more embarrassed by his actions then the rest of us. I think they are better informed about why he does what he does, and they don't like it either.

Bush Sr. doesn't talk too much privatly about his son, but privately.....he's got his ear.

Don't doubt that Bush sr, and his other family, aren't giving him advice.
