BCCI's headqarter is in Mumbai is by British legacy. It is sympathetic & is highly biased in favour of Mumbaites & Maharastrian players. It is deadly against even very good players of Hindi heartland. Biases of Chandu Borde , Vengsarkar, Gavaskar & Ajit Wadekar are well known by their statements & writings, some being highly communal & sectarian even. None of them desrve to be in ICC any longer if anyone still exists there. Aso called great batsman dictates his own bogus standard of fast bowling even not knowing a b c of it. I remember in 1969 when Australia's team under Bill Lorry came to India, some north Indian players like Hyder Ali, Mushtaque Ali & Ghulam Murtaza of Indian Railways played very well against Australia from Central Zone team. Hyder Ali scored 54 runs against Graham Mckenzie ,W. Connoley & A. Mallet etc. but none of them was selected in test team , being much better than bogus players like Wadkar, Surti, R.G. Nadkarni & U.N. Kulkarni etc. & India lostby 2-1.

Hi,
I don't completely agree with you.

What difference is place (mumbai or delhi) going to make, if you need a change then you must replace the current selectors and committee members. Then it might work.

According to me,
I had always believed that Indian fans are more knowledgeable than the selectors. We can do something like this: the selection committee will display the list of 30 probables for any tournament on a website. Each user (Indian citizens) can login and select the best 14 players according to their own choice.

The website will also contain items like: recent performances, score card, how much money they are making out of advertisements etc; this will help the users to judge a player who is in / and out of form.

Technology as improved so much that this is possible.

First of all,we should all learn to play with a straight bat, that is what a Mumbaikar learns(Whatever is religion, caste, region etc.).To call all cricket greats from maharashtra as biased is like ball tempering.Cricket my dear sir, is a Gentleman's game and Bombay cricketers like C.K Naidu,Faroukh Engineer,Salim Durrani,Sunil Gavaskar and others have displayed their skill in cricket and not in some delhilike cricket politics. It is a well known fact as to what the likes of Manoj Prabhakars from Delhi have done to Indian Cricket.

BCCI has never been a british body, it is more Indian than so called Indians in India, who seek greener pastures on the other side of the fence.Indulging in travesties of truth has never been a virtue of Indians.

Maharshtrian play cricket with a bat, but sometimes use the bat as a weapon to break dumbheads.

Shifting capitals(Delhi to Daulatabad:Mohd.Bin Tughlaq) and making new capitals (Pindi,I-----bad) has not helped people of India historically, politically.Cricket is after all just a game.

Not Necessary.
The team is already in WI.
Except Sehwag(North) all others picked themselves. His inclusion is a gamble that may or may not click.
Just be proud of the whole Indian team or at least the Indian spearheads Zaheer,Irfan and Munaf.
We can have any amount of criticism after the series is over, not in the middle.

Shifting in not the solution.......It should perform to the expectations of the public,as there should not be any political pressure, regional feelings or any sort of pressure while selection, should be purely based on the performance...atlast its a game binded to hearts of the people...game is a game.... politics not to be involved............Hope to have a team selected on the performance in the future...........all the best.
