The gravity force between us and objects around us is extremely small as gravity is a weak force. The electric force is far more powerful than the force of gravity. Since we and the objects around us are composed of charged particles, why don't we feel strong electrical forces?

We do. If you don't understand this, slam your fist into the wall (no, not really!) What stops your fist is the atomic forces binding together the matter in the wall. Very strong.
These forces don't act a great distance however, that's why gravity can appear "stronger," having more effect on objects separated by distance.
If you actually punched the wall (hope not), the damage done your hand is because the matter in your hand isn't bound quite as strongly as that in the wall, because of its molecular composition.

Most of the objects around us, including our bodies are electrically neutral. hence, even the forces tend to cancel each other out and the net force is zero. But imagine the strength of the electric/magnetic fields. Even a 10 gram magnet can win a tug of war against the giant earth to successfully pull a pin towards it end! Need i say more?

gravity has the farthest reach of all the forces even though it is a weak force.electric force doesn't reach very far .... Insulated wire.....and we do feel electrical forces............ static shock? Jerald

you'd feel static electricity like when walking around a carpetted area and reaching for metal as with a doorknob, or feeling your arm's hair spread as you place it near the tv pictube. to 'feel' any stronger is the jolt from a stunstick, or be electrocuted, or by lightning
