Non - volatile means that which is not easily lost
so NVM Devices are those devices that have the ability to retain their memory
u see it is based on hysterisis loss or the past history
if u study the hysterisis curve of ferroelectric materials u can understand about it.
They have the ability to retain their magnetic domains to a greater extend and hence the 0's and 1's they store is not lost so easily.

i) Computer USB Memory Stick
ii) Computer Hard Drive
iii) ROM or PROM Chips (Programmable Read Only Memory)
