These "boys" often do not out grow some of the effects of over mothering and will often require some poor woman to "take care" of them. Dumping him was a good choice.

guys like that think they are entitled to so much because they have been trained that way
and without intervention they will expect any gfs or wives to carry on where their mother left off
i think unless you are willing to do that (and there are some misguided gals out there who think it is their one and only goal in life to get a man and keep him in every way possible even if it means doing it all for him like an overgrown baby) then you are better off with someone else with different expectations
maybe currently you may benefit from some soul searching to find out what kind of man would be the best to make YOU happy before getting into another relationship - that way you would best avoid ending up with another mama's boy again.

Girl.. she is EXACTLY the problem. When "momma's boys" are raised that way, they really do think the world revolves around them. That is what she has taught them. I know because I've dated and married a variety of Momma boys, and I have 3 sons. Believe me, they will NOT have that complex.. you did the right thing!

You did the right thing---those kinds of men (or should I say 'boys') are a disgrace and he doesn't deserve your attention or the right to make your home a mess. It's a good thing you kicked him to the curb!!

think u were wise to get rid of him, he is a product of what his mom made him, he never had to clean up his messes, or do much of anything for himself, she did it all for him. this boy is definitely not a keeper. he is lazy because he has never had any consequences in life for not being lazy.

Yup, you were right to dump his ****! It's his mother who raised him to be like that, however it's him who is continuing the behaviour...good work on the dumping! One to stay away from.

I would have dumped him too!!! His mom is allowing him to be that way so until he is forced he'll never change.
