A slight bump of the head at worst could cause you a nasty headache, along with a sore bump on the head. But if you have any blurred vision or nausea then seek medical attention sooner rather than later.

Head injuries that need prompt medical attention is caused by a severe or violent impact to the head, which can cause death, or permanent brain impairment (Acquired Brain Injury or Traumatic Brain Injury).

Injuries that cause death or ABI/TBI include a heavy object hitting the head, a fall from a height where you may strike your head on the way down, or in a car accident. These type of injuries have caused the brain to bleed or swell, causing the victim to have altered states of consciousness, leading to unconsciousness and if not treated promptly then death may occur.

Other signs of severe head injury is blood or straw coloured fluid coming from the nose and ears, pupils unequal in size, blurred vision, altered or abnormal responses, headache, nausea & vomiting.

Always err on the side of caution and seek medical aid especialy if unconscious even if breifly.

It has to be a serious head injury to cause you to die. A slight bump should not fatally hurt you. Watch for headache, dizziness, and blurred vision, or loss of consciousness, as this can mean a sign of a concussion. But this would have to be caused by a hard hit to the head. Also a blood clot to in the brain would be caused by a serious head injury that could result in death. You should be fine.

Yes, you can die from hitting your head. A slight bump does not sound like a big thing to worry about - if you did not lose consiousness (yet) you should be okay - Pls do not sleep for at least the next 2 hours, unless you get checked out by a doc. If you did pass out, and even if not, you could have a concussion - this needs to be checked by a doc.

good luck....

no sweetie, not from a little bump or even a hard bump you have to be pretty much knocked unconcious and or ave a brain bleed or brain injury that causes swelling of the brain this would require a pretty hard blow to the head since your skull is made to protect for minor injury like bumps on the washing machine. but yes, it is possible if you actually hit hard enough to loose conciousness.

you could if you have a bleed in ur brain. which i doubt since u are online asking this question. how old are u? are u on blood thinners? did u loose consciousness? having seizures? headaches? dizziness or lightheadedness? vomitting? if u answer no to all these then u are probably ok.

if you hit your head hard enough to be unconscious after you do it, then you could die. but its not all that easy, you can cause dammage that will result in a blood clot later that still can kill you, but its really not all that likely.
