I think so, yes.
The walkman's earphones are still plugged in, right? there might be a slight doppler effect. Negligible. actually.
Can you listen to music on a concorde? And those fighter plane pilots listen to their messages from Air traffic control at Mach 3, 6 whatever.

the guy wearing a walkman is somewhat working the fee of light, that's quicker than the fee of sound , so the sounds from his walkman may be vacationing the fee of sound (their velocity) over and above the fee over the lightspeed he himself grew to become into vacationing, so he might somewhat be listening to Disco song from a mid-70s broadcast, because of the fact the sound vacationing quicker than the fee of light may be going backwards in time, and he might unexpectedly flashback to a psychological image of John Travolta gyrating his hips, faint interior the midst of a hectic intersection being repaved, get run over by making use of the asphalt truck and die quicker than the fee of light and sound mutually.

Good question, remember his walkman would be moving at the same speed as him, so possibly.

Actually, I think that he would hear a little music, and here is why. If you use those earbuds, the sound vibrates within the ear and the skull. In other words the there is no distance for the sound to travel. ; )

Are you stoned? Because I am. And while I know this question is silly, I am completely captivated by it, and now have spent some quiet moments pondering it.
