As a character places the pieces of a jigsaw puzzle together, he realizes that the puzzle is in fact and image of himself, at that exact moment in time. But as he ensues, adjoining the final pieces, he uncovers another figure in the background, a figure holding a gleaming knife to his head. As he places the final piece, and comes to grip with the reality of the image, he turns and sees the assailant, a moment too late.

No but it sounds interesting.

Btw if he knew that each piece was that exact moment in real life, why in the world would he put the last pieces into place? Apart from that idioticy it sounds like an entertaining story.

Kind of like the far side drawing of the guy painting a man with a moon shining throught the window. But half of the man gets painted as a werewolf and the painting stops.

yes I have.
longago, there was a series of some sort, that pulled something like that off.

If youre trying to use it in your movie idea, know you probably couldget away with it, since Im a movie buff and the averagemovie viewer wont reallyrecallsomething that far back

I've never seen anything like that. It sounds like a great plot.

If you're a writer, perhaps you have a great idea there.
