The first part of your statement gives it all !! You are a "confident" lady just in "your field " of activity. That doesn't mean that you are totally confident and composed. Basically you are of the type who woks like a dog and expects appreciation & recognition from all around you. Most of the time you may not get it and that makes you depressed & sad.The only solution to that is to change your attitude. Yes! you do your duties well but do not expect a single word of consolation from those around you. When you are angry inside, slowly count up to ten reciting the snetence " I AM OK AND THEY ARE ALSO OK".That may help you to control your emotions and re gain your composure. This is not a big problem and almost everyone face that at one time or another. Its your self anger that makes you cry and try to control that. All the best!! You are a sweet person!!!

I have the same problem sometimes. Some advice I've been given and has proven true, is to make sure you're well rested. Everything is more stressful when you are tired. If you have trouble getting a good night's sleep, you could try meditation or some other relaxation technique. Meditation could also be useful with creative visualisation. Visualise you and your co-workers getting along and having some fun maybe (or visualise the problem person happily moving on to another job). - Don't use negative emotions for that though..

it shows that you have a soft spot, and it makes out an impression that you are a coworker with a shoulder to lean on.

however, i don't think it is one of the traits that a boss would want his supervisor to have. a leader should be impervious in most cases, especially in dealing with tough situations involving confrontations with subordinates, brainstormings, and decision-makings. so if you're up to promotion, better deal with that fast.

try to make your confidence and efficiency help you cope up with your soft spot. it needs to be regulated. it is not to be transparent at all times..

It means that you have a surplus of emotions and that your EQ is exceptionally sensitive . So as to control the flow of emotions , you should try to learn descipline into your thoughts .

You are letting them control the situation. They aren't as emotional as you and that allows them to gain control.

you have control of your job and do well...you have two ears...let the BS go in one...and out the other...it will not bother you unless "YOU" let it..mind over matter...you do not mind...it will not matter
