CONTROL... not have...

im not sure about controlling it but manipulating it is possible. I could out live someone on earth if i traveled around earth at the speed of light. I would age slower than would someone on earth. Like if I travel at the speed of light for like 10 years, i would have only age ten years while the time on earth would have passed by like thousands of years.

The passage of time is affected by the velocity of the reference frame (e.g., a spaceship or a quantum particle). As the reference frame approaches the speed of light (c), time on the reference frame is stretched out (dilated) so that, to an observer outside the reference frame, time slows down on that reference frame. Or another way to say this, time on the outside speeds up relative to time inside the moving reference frame.

The time is dilated as T = t[1/sqrt(1 - (v/c)^2)], where t is the time passing on the reference frame with velocity v, and T is the passage of time outside the reference frame. Thus, at almost the speed of light (v ~ c), time passing on Earth (T), which is outside the reference frame, would be nearly infinity for just a second or two of t passing on a very fast spaceship.

The practical outcome of time dilation is that, when the light speed space traveler got back from her trip, all her friends and family would have passed away centuries ago. Yet, because of the slowing on the spaceship, our time traveler would have aged just a year or two...depending on how close to c her ship got. And that is how to control time.

Time is relative to yourself, I don't believe there ever can be an astounding time existence to the past or to the distant future, but rather at some time existing at a different point during our current time. Kind of like a stargate theory. This would be the best we can do to control our OWN existence in time, time itself is not something that can be controlled just as we are not able to control many other natural things like creating life, fire, earthquakes, the sun. We can contain then briefly or affect their existence or reaction but not actually manipulate them entirely.

An idea I've kicked around is that it may be possible that one could view time indirectly. If particles contain histories of their states, including: direction, origin, and location, charge and mass then possibly they contain data or extrapolations regarding their future states. If one could obtain a massive data set for enormous regions of space, then it may allow you to view at least some part of the future by giving proxy information from which useful insights could be gleaned. Of course, the computational ability required is unimaginable, not to mention how to obtain the information set.

Everything is possible, but for a human controlling time would take years of mathematical calculations and experiments.

Yep. As you go faster, time slows down for you. You wouldn't experience a longer life, but you would think that everything around you is going faster!

Of course, the speeds you need to reach to really make any of this noticeable are very, very fast. Faster than we can go right now. But it's possible!

You can only control what use you make of it.

only as far as small particles sped around accelerators in fermi and cerne labs.heavy particles sped up to speed of light have a longer life span than otherwise(nano seconds of lifetime particle increase,a nano second is 1 billionth of a second)heat, gravity ,electricity, light, time, electrons are all different manifestations of some elemental force.,,,,if we find out how to isolatem in a laboratory,or find the root force involved in all of them we could get time out of a bottle & bring back jim croce(time is a property of the big kaboom<<<<<<11 billion years ago,,,what existed before is unfathomable)

You mean how to use time wisely?
We cannot control time. It progress as it is.
