Why do women need layers of makeup to think that they look pretty?

I can tell by some of your answers you don't think very much of women. Did someone brake your heart or did your mother not show you love as a boy or are you just a mean person.?
About the makeup question some women just like to wear makeup because in their minds it makes them look prettier so what is wrong with that ? Does your wife wear layers of makeup ? Shame on you women who agreed with hideous joe.

I usually steer clear of the heavily made up ones (except for the occasional quick fling) because I've always assumed they look like some hideous creature beneath it all. I do find that the ones with all the makeup give it up easily - all you need to do is flirt a bit.

I wear very light natural make up...its just meant no enhance not conceal and coat.
I think some girls just don't know how to apply it.
No most arent hideous w/out....they just don't have the self confidence....and they use make up as a mask.
But whats up with the scarf on your head, thats not hideous?
and why is a cosmetics question in marriage and divorce?
Ever heard of people who live in glass houses...not throwing stones?

We think this? Oh, I didn't know. I never wear make up unless you count lip gloss. I've been friends with women who can't even go out to the corner shop without make up. Some of them are prettier without the make up, some look good either way, some of them, my god, even with all the make up they'd be better off investing in a paper bag.

Women do this because this is how our society portrays woman. If you watch movies or music videos you can see half naked beautiful women dancing all over or always getting the guy. This leads us to believe that we all need to do this in order to make us "acceptable". Many women have natural beauty and should go with it. I think alot of make up just makes them look trashy !

A LITTLE BIT OF MAKEUP DOES HELP LOOK BETTER BUT LAYERS OF IT ARE ONLY NEEDED FOR PEOPLE BEING FILMED AS THE BRIGHT LIGHTS HIGHLIGHT THE LITTLEST FLAWS.
MAKEUP CAN BE QUITE ADDICTIVE, SO SOME WOMEN JUST KEEP PUTTING IT ON & DONT EVEN THINK IF IT'S OVER THE TOP!

To much make up is revolting and in my opinion makes women look way older than they are. A little makes all the difference. ( Im female)
