right-click at the taskbar, click toolbar, den choose windows media player; turn on media player, minimize it will gona to minimize ur player but not put ur player on the taskbar

Right click an empty space on the task bar, click Toolbars, click Windows Media Player

I think it has to be at least version 10, maybe 11. Just right click on the taskbar,(the bottom one) select Toolbars, it should appear as an option.

to do this all you have to do is right click on the taskpane and goto the "Toolbars" menu and then click Windows Media Player and ,Viola, it's a toolbar
