I'm 5'8. I guess that's really tall for some people, and average for others. It's really hard to find a guy that's over 5'7 for some reason. I like my guys to atleast be 6'0 (i don't think that's asking for too much?)......They usually are really intimidated by me, which is really annoying because i'm harmless. I just wish i was more petite and dainty, like 5'5 or 5'4, guys seem to like that better for the most part.
Enough of my mindless ranting, Does any guy here like tall girls?

put it this way, guys, who don not want to be with taller girls, are insecure. in the long run, you want to be with a confident man than an insecure one. and the taller the guy, the longer his foot =) hehehe

You're not that tall, you're just a bit taller than average. If guys are intimidated by a girl who is 5ft8, then they are really whimps. And how come the guys at your place are so short? You find it hard to find a guy who is over 5ft7? Where do you live? In Japan? I'm 5ft11 and most men are taller than me. I have never felt guys were intimidated by me cause of my height. How do you know they are intimidated by your height? Have you asked them?

Well, I am not a guy, so not sure if I can really help you. I just wanted to encourage you to hang in there. There is somone for you, I know how you feel. I am 6"1 and I love heels too. I have been through it all, but I have someone that is taller than me now, so if can happen for you too. What ever you do, don't compromise your desire or standard. I understand height is not everything, but if makes you feel uncomfortable to be with someone shorter, do not settle. You will end up cheating with your dream man who will probably show up as soon as you think you are going to settle for someone else. :)

Petite is more like 5'0, 5'1. I'm 4'11. At least you're 5 foot. But yeah the only problem with tall girls is that if they find a guy who's not as tall they can't wear heels.

I wouldnt stress over it, People shouldnt look at your height, weight, clothes, etc., but your personaility..Your not even all that tall if it makes you feel better. And being a MAN myself, i like tall women just as much as short ones

Guys love tall girls (I'm a tall girl - 5'9).
Plus- clothes look great on us.
I don't know how old you are, but my height was a problem for me only until college. The tall guys are THERE.

Interesting question. I am a 6'2 guy and I rarely meet any girls over the 5'6. I like girls that are tall. I dislike looking down to people I am talking to, I would feel like I am disrespecting them. However, it is unavoidable due to my "excessive" height.
You should appreciate your height.

You may hate it, but don't show that you do...carry yourself tall. Tall is beautiful...tall is confident.
As for guys, there are plenty of tall guys out there. but don't be so concerned about their height.
I am almost 6'0 and except for sneakers; every pair of shoes I own have heels - confidence attracts.
