since we dont have 4 seasons,how i can make my students realize why shakespears compare the beloved's beauty with summer, and summer is a beautiful season. here when it's hot..it's hot, no beauty in that...

have them find pictures in books that represent the seasons.
maybe you could dress up your classroom for each season...have each corner of the room be a different season, with the appropriate decor.

Oh that's hard.
Maybe break it down line by line or something and try to get them to think about it not literally but about what it would have meant in Shakespeare's time (though it's hard to get in that frame of mind sometimes) and in terms similes, metaphors and other literary devices. Oh how old are they?
