If I could create a perfect husband he would be...

1. Smart/Educated (I have to be able to have an intelligent conversation with a man about important things and he should care about education)

2. Ambitious (I have to have a guy who wants more; someone who really wants to be successful in his life, not necessarily being rich, but being the best he can be in whatever career field he chooses to follow)

3. Funny (I have always found a sense of humor to be so sexy in guys; I don't want a guy who takes himself too serious, although he should know when it's appropriate)

4. Kind/Compassionate/Caring/Giving/Unselfish

5. Mildly Romantic (I'm not the typical flower and jewerly kinda girl, but I want a guy who knows how to be kinda romantic, definitely not over the top though, because that seems chessy; an example of romantic to me is just being able to lay down on the couch with each other and him have his arms about me with his head tucked right be my ear and watching a movie we both like - aww!)

6. Good Dresser (He doesn't have to be GQ all the time, but he has to have some sense of style and desire to look nice, not scruffy all the time)

7. Not Religious (I am an agnostic-atheist, so preferably I would want a person who is not religious either, but this isn't a huge sticking point with me, just a minor detail that would be perfect if possible)

There are many other things I want in my potential husband, but these are just the most important of the bunch, save for #6, I just threw that in because it's a unique quality that no one really thinks about. And while all these qualities would be wonderful to have combined, I just hope to find a husband that loves me, truly loves me, and who can be supportive of me in whatever I choose to do.

easy. He'd cherish everything that I hold dear. Religion isn't important to me so it shouldn't be important to him, but when someone holds religion important their loved one should too. Politics, if important, should be similar. Sexual needs and desires should be similar as well. That includes desire for children and how many. After that the rest is gravy. Funny that the three things I suggested are the three things one is not supposed to talk about. I think that my husband should be liberal, light on religion, sweet and of good disposition, horny as heck, and be desirous of a couple of kids. (looks back on typing....."good disposition"....."desirous"....??? are we in the 1800s? What's wrong with me?) Apparently, I also need a man who can put up with my strange language. ;-)
