Pita {Pain In The A**} I got that from a friend of mine who was in her 90's and I thought it was so funny I had to use it.

I used to have a cat called Big Boy, he was a huge neutered male. He used to get in the way when I was trying to feed him so while I was putting his food out I would lock him outside. When the food was ready I would open the back door and shout "Come on Big-Boy, come and get it!"

I now have a cat called Cheddar, so called because as a tiny kitten I couldn't get him to eat anything but cheese. My youngest cat is called Cobble because he was found dumped on a Cobbled back street. My eldest cat's full name is Venus Park-Bench Cotton-Bud Killer Tonk Spoon. When she was a kitten my dog kept sitting on her (Hence "Park-Bench") She had a love for playing with cotton buds and she is always trying to stick her head in her food bowl while I am trying to fill it so she always ends up getting tonked on the head with the spoon.

I also have a 3 legged hamster called Stumpy Jack

Well my little princess (so she thinks) is Kinky.
Believe it or not but for no perverted reasons.
I got her when she was about 3 months old and had her for less then a week. Still no name quite fit BUT.
The hurricane Juan hit and we were without power for days and low and behold we have a cat infatuated with candle flames. It didn't matter where we put them she would manage to get just close enough for her whiskers to singe. Curling up and "Kinking" around her face.
Still 4 years old and a candle flame holds her attention for hours.

I used to have a pony called Captain Fredhead. At the same time I had a horse that would only come to Dumass, which made it fun when calling him up for the field.
I also used to look after a colt whos stable name was shithead!

My cat is Tetsusaiga. I tell the vet to just call him Sai (we do too) but they insist on trying to pronounce it and look at me weird after. My other cats are Draco and Vincent...nothing weird about that...

My dog is Crux. Since he's an AUS cattle dog/red heeler we wanted an Aussie name for him so he got a Southern Hemisphere constellation name. Everyone we've met has tried to prnounce it "Cruss" instead. :-/

My two sisters' cats have classic names:

CRACKBABY earned his name because as a kitten he seemed to prefer the company of my husband's friends who played with him too roughly (in my opinion.) So, he liked the abuse? Not very politically correct, but it's hilarious when the vet gets a new receptionist and we get to hear her trying to say that name professionally on the answering machine.

FUZZBUTT earned his name because as a kitten we thought he was a girl, and one day after his balls started growing in, my baby sister exclaimed, "Mami, why is Sandy's butt getting fuzzy?" (He got neutered promptly after the namechange.)

I have 2 chihuahuas. One chihuahua (a boy) has a regular dog name. The other (a girl), her name is Tweety or Tweedy. I named her Tweety because I nicknamed my boy dog sweety, because he never barks, and is extremely sweet. On the other hand, Tweety has a bit of a personality disorder. She barks and growls excessively.
