If the USA suffers from population density comparable to that of China, or worse yet, India, the economic classes themselves would change, and all but the top tiers would suffer drastically.

It would definitely be the middle class that would suffer the most. We can see this slightly happening today, and NOT because of overpopulation.

The reasons are that we are loosing jobs, and not creating new jobs. New jobs, that at least, fill the economic needs of those that had prior jobs. The middle class has become a stagnant figure of its former self.

Thanks to NAFTA (Clinton) & CAFTA (Bush), we are loosing jobs to foreign countries. With the NAFTA superhighway coming through the middle of Texas, and the abolishing of many trucking laws regarding illegal aliens, this problem is likely to not correct itself anytime soon.

The rich would suffer their share more then any other time in history. The poor will start to invade their little gated communities because of lack of affordable homes to rent or buy. This will help to lower the value of property within the higher income districts. It will also remove and abolish the current middle class citizens to either poor or high income brackets.

It will not happen anytime in the next century. When I first drove to the west coast some decades ago, I went through vast expanses that could have simply disappeared from the face of the earth, and nobody would have noticed that they were missing. That is still true today.

How can the US become over populated.
When we kick the butts of our own children with them all surviving and running on batteries in planet of apes.
The population will be on the minus side with the rise of the new Atlantis over the horizon in planet of apes.
That is what the mystery of us-911 expose in planet of apes.
Why I have to kick the butts of the dirty old men in office when they don't even know what went wrong right at their own doorsteps in planet of apes.
The SOS was transmitted out by our brothers from the middle-east kicking me on the butts in planet of apes.
