Seeing a crystal blue beach on white sand. How glorious nature can be.
If we just sit and take the time to enjoy it.

I trust you.
A long time ago I thought that love was something that you reserved for some special set of people that you had judged worthy of it.
After a while I got to thinking about what Jesus had said about turning the other cheek and loving our neighbor I put the two together and realized that he had made no exceptions in these statements. It became obvious to me that he intended that we exclude no one from the love that we are supposed to be giving. I started thinking about my idea of love and suddenly realized that I had not been loving anyone at all. I had simply been judging everyone and every thing.
Judging someone worthy of love is not love, it is only judgment. I actually started to cry when I realized this. I saw just how much of my life I had wasted being judgmental, thinking of myself as a Christian, when I was actually doing just the opposite of what Jesus had asked us to do.
I thought about the verse judge not lest ye be judged, and I understood it for the first time.
I realized that I have a lot of catching up to do. So many opportunities were wasted. I now try to apply the love that I have for the world in a universal way like Jesus asks us to do.
If I start to feel afraid and think that I see someone that I should not love because of something I have thought or heard I try to catch my mistake as soon as possible. I tell myself that I have forgot the truth and have fallen for the same old trick that had cost me so many opportunities to be loving in the past. The horror of this realization is often all that is necessary to bring me back to my senses and make me drop the judgmental nonsense I was thinking.
I still have a lot to learn about love, but at least I’m making progress.
Love and blessings
Your brother

There is a surprise every day. A child is born, it lives and prospers. in this world we have so many things to be grateful for. however, those come from people and things around us. According to the US we offer so much to those in other countires that wish to find their fortune and safety.
Too bad our country doesn't know how to take care of their own yet. I agree--there is universal love, and you and the young ones (my children included) are the ones that must teach that to our Nation. Love to you and yours.

I trust you! It is a lovely thing....that love is there and it grows according to how much we are open to receive it.....:D
This world surprises me with how mysterious it can be...just when I think I know a lot about how things are, I find I'm humbled, and all I can do shake my head and be amazed at the wonder of it all....a continual state of not-knowing and seeing things as if for the first time....
here spring is just about here, and I'm surprised every single time with how incredibly beautiful it is: everything starts to come alive again...trees and flowers are blooming...birds singing...colors so vibrant...
wonderful questionâº

Animals are so funny, don't you think? Our world is tremendously large and full of everything we need to be happy. We have sunsets, oceans, and plants that are beautiful as well as necessary to live. We have variety in food, nature.... Then we have family and friends. This life we have is a gift. We were meant to enjoy these things forever, don't you think? The bible teaches that God originally purposed man to live on earth in perfect health forever, and he will soon restore paradise. Don't you want to enjoy friends, perfect health, and the earth forever???

The amazing beauty of nature... especially in spring time. For instance, I live on a farm and just recently my chicks have hatched, and 2 of our horses have just had foals, watching them learn from their mothers and grow into beautiful creatures is amazing. This world is beautiful, but sometimes, the beauty is hard to find, we just have to look beyond all the hatred and terrorism, to find the real beauty of life.

What constantly brings new surprises into my life is the absolute depravity of some people and their cynical disregard for truth and goodness|
What is equally surprising is God's goodness and power in justly punishing the b******* and turning the tables on whatever they attempt|
